Why do bad things happen to good people? A philosophical debate.

Sometimes, life leaves me no clue as to how some things happen negatively to good people. When we were growing up, all I thought was that good people would live longer while the wicked ones would die untimely because whatever they did bad to another fellow, something would strike them and they die miserably — this was how we were brought up and even being instilled good morals like doing good, being kind to one another and above all, learn to love another because it is the first mandatory rule in the Bible. Love is the greatest, so does the Bible put it! Life is a complicated tapestry that weaves together a multitude of events, from unforeseen tragedies and sorrows to moments of pure bliss...
