I was a Girl Scout for most of my childhood, so I always have a soft spot for Girl Scout cookies.

I love farmers' markets! I went to the Hollywood farmer's market yesterday and got some veggies and a baguette. I like to make bruschetta. I also got some beets and sautéed them in olive oil and garlic.

Yesterday's hike was from the new zoo to the old zoo and back. The hike as 4.6 miles. The old zoo closed in 1965 and some of the enclosures are still there. It's cool, but a title creepy.

Happy St Patrick's Day Growing up in Chicago, St Patrick's Day, was always a hightlight of the year. There are two parades and lots of festivities. St Patrick's Day in Los Angeles has always been interesting.
