Que tal, Music Zone. Siguiendo con muy buena música, quiero compartir con ustedes un tema de “Steve Cole” quien es uno de los pilares del smooth jazz contemporáneo, conocido por un estilo que fusiona el R&B, el pop y el soul con una técnica impecable en el saxofón tenor. Originario de Chicago, saltó a la fama en 1998 y desde entonces ha mantenido una carrera sólida caracterizada por melodías pegajosas y una producción pulida que realmente tienen una riqueza musical envidiable, tomando en cuenta que la línea de bajo es realmente impresionante. La música de Cole destaca por una conexión profunda con el jazz clásico de los años 40 y 50, a pesar de su envoltorio moderno y comercial. Hey there, Music Zone. Continuing with some great music, I want to share with you a track by Steve Cole, one of the pillars of contemporary smooth jazz, known for a style that fuses R&B, pop, and soul with impeccable technique on the tenor saxophone. Originally from Chicago, he rose to fame in 1998 and has since maintained a solid career characterized by catchy melodies and polished production that truly have an enviable musical richness, considering that the bass line is truly impressive. Cole's music stands out for its deep connection to classic jazz from the 1940s and 1950s, despite its modern and commercial packaging. His ability to “get inside” the compositions rather than simply executing them gives him an emotional expressiveness that sets him apart from other saxophonists in the genre, who, like Kenny G, maintain a spectacular sound. It should be noted that they are two of my favorite saxophonists, and today at this Hive Music Festival, I want to share the song “Neo Sol” by this incredible musician.
