Two possible reasons i think of - DDOS attack on the website ( bitconnect.co ) and rest of the exchanges have synced up with the website price , as soon as website was shutdown there is no way that price

I use binance for NEO. you can keep it there , the only downside is you can claim GAS monthly once but with NEON wallets you can claim whenever you want. If you haven't got neon wallet from cityofzion
