I agree. I think YouTube will either change its policies and retake its position of preferred platform or it will carry on hanging itself and Dtube will take over.

They banned my cute cat chasing its tail from monetisation, I didn't link to dtube in the description just wrote on the screen and the algorithm still picked it up See my Stube video about it. I'm loving
