You know, quality control programs, key performance indicators. And I just used that experience with implementing and revamping educational programs. And we started having success.
And people, the inmates recognised that we were way better at implementing and doing those programs as well. So they invested their time and energy into the programs. And I didn't have a real count because I didn't have a tracking system in place to see how many didn't come back.
But the few programs we did, we were getting more successful. But as the left took over all those programs, they didn't care about success. They just cared about numbers.
And I think that's the fallacy. When I looked at California Department of Corrections, I looked at their program. If you look at their real recidivism numbers, they're not having any success at all.
And I know what it is. Bureaucrats are just counting numbers. They're not really interested in success.
They just want to say they put them through classes. They're good. Let them out of prison.
So they're not true anti-recidivism programs is the way I see them. I don't know if that answered your question. No, it absolutely does.
I think that we need to start having this conversation. And I really do. And I think we need to have it quickly.
