Thanks. Its a skywatcher 8" newtonian reflector (F5.9) which isn't ideal for planetary stuff (maksutov cassegrains give a better view), Saturn does appear much smaller in the eyepiece but the same

Saturn's rings are pretty awesome. It's probably my favorite thing to check out with a scope, never managed to get any decent images because it's so small & my gear isn't ideal. Still gotta try though
