It grows in muddy water, and it is this environment that gives forth the flower’s first and most literal meaning: rising and blooming above the murk to achieve enlightenment." In all of our lives we experience the tribulations of Ying and Yang, the dance of positive and negative energy. It is important to occasionally reconnect to the underlying universal force on which Ying and Yang perform. In this way we navigate through life more entrenched in the present moment, rather than dwelling on past or future. ☯️ "The second meaning, which is related to the first is purification. It resembles the purifying of the spirit which is born into murkiness. The third meaning refers to faithfulness. Those who are working to rise above the muddy waters will need to be faithful followers." In life we are all born equal, as human beings. As we grow up we are imprinted with cultural and societal norms. The more we understand our connection to nature the more the status quo leaves us yearning for more. Knowing who we are is a vital part of spiritual but also personal growth. 🌎🌎🌎 "The mud represents an importance in the meaning of the lotus flower in Buddhism. All humans are born in a world where there is suffering. This suffering is a vital part of the human experience; it makes us stronger and teaches us to resist the temptation of evil. When we banish evil thoughts from our mind we are able to break free of the muddy water and become one with the Buddha. The mud shows us who we are and teaches us to choose the right path over the easy one." Doing what is meaningful not what is expedient is what differentiates us from other species on Earth. As human beings we are endowed with the gift of consciousness, of rationality, of the mind. However, we have abused our power and now need to re-establish a connection with nature, because with great power comes great responsibility. 🌻🌻🌻 "Finally, the lotus flower represents rebirth, both in a figurative and a literal sense. The rebirth can be a change of ideas, an acceptance of Buddha where there once was none, the dawn after one’s darkest day, a renaissance of beliefs or the ability to see past wrongs. In a literal sense, the meaning of the lotus flower in Buddhism represents rebirth as a reincarnation, such as in the Buddhist religion, when a soul leaves this world in its present form to be reborn in another." ( Source) The lotus flower is a powerful symbol for the journey ahead. Not only in this group context but also the world at large. By representing beauty, purification, faithfulness and rebirth, the lotus flower embodies the attributes we can develop through meditation to navigate tough times. 🌷🌷 🌷 Tomorrow I will send out another message regarding further instructions about how we will work our way through this programme. 💭Please read this post carefully - it contains all the guidelines of our journey.💭 This journey will last 21 days starting tomorrow. Today, I’m just going to share some information to keep in mind, to insure this is a smooth experience for all. ✨Day 0- The creation of the group and intentions.✨ Guidelines: 1. After the publication of the daily task, you have around 24 hours to complete it - make sure to have it done before bedtime.🙏🏾 2. When it says in the task that you need to write something, do so by hand, with a pen on paper. It is ideal to have a separate notebook specifically for the 21 Days of Abundance. 📗🖌 3. Before you write, come to a calm state using slow deep breathing or meditation. The best time to complete the task is right after doing Deepak Chopra’s daily meditation. 4. You are not expected to leave ‘thank you‘ messages or any cordial comments in the group. Only do so if you feel like it. This is meant to be personal, a journey within, and should feel light to you. If you have any questions, please send them to me in a private message. 5. Be fully focused on the daily task, allocate time and space for it. 6. If you cannot participate, or keep the rhythm of the program, please remove yourself from the group. Make this decision on your own. It is important for us to maintain the flow so that the energy input into this process does not dissipate. 7. After completing the daily task, please write the completion statement “Day x Done” as a confirmation for all in the group. X stands for the number of days. There will be days in which you will be asked to leave other comments. Feel free to include a message about what's opened up for you. Please do so in the same message so not to flood the chat with numerous messages. 8. If the task is not completed within the 24 hours, please exit the group.
