RE: A Step Into the Ether pt.3: Evolution of Mining Rig Design (Scaling Up)
Thanks again! A lot of cooling optimization is affected by your physical location. Summer was rough, it's a lot more expensive to maintain your hashrate with warmer ambient temperatures. I chose to operate

RE: A Step Into the Ether pt.3: Evolution of Mining Rig Design (Scaling Up)
The GPUs used for the first two builds (pt.1&2) were all MSI RX480s (~20-21MH/s), I believe the ones hanging here are MSI RX 580s, and the hybrid build was using GTX 1070s. My commercial operation

RE: Best Mining GPU 2018: The Best Graphics Cards For Mining Bitcoin, Ethereum And More !!!!! ( DTUBE )
Great summary of the current market! I would agree, my 1070s have served me extremely well, I'm running 1070s as the primary mining card for my commercial operation.

RE: This could be the beginning of the end of China’s dominance in bitcoin mining

RE: Heater for 5k$ ?? (miners)
I love this idea! I'm a big fan of turning something we view as a nuisance into a resource. I've been working on a project in which a friend of mine will be using a mining rig to keep his greenhouse heated

RE: Building My First Mining Rig - An Epic Newb Adventure, Part 2
So my process has evolved quite a bit since I originally started. I kept my mining rig in the coldest part of my house that I could find, and put a 20" box fan behind it to pull fresh, cool air over

RE: Building My First Mining Rig - An Epic Newb Adventure, Part 2
Great job! I'm a pretty experienced miner myself, I've built about four hard-frame rigs for myself and others, but now I run a commercial mining operation with 10 rigs (more coming soon). I would love

RE: A Step Into the Ether, pt.1: Building a 6 GPU Mining Rig
In regards to dust, I just use computer duster for the most part, but when I have thorough cleaning that needs to get done, I pull out my vacuum that's got an integrated computer cleaning kit. I believe

RE: A Step Into the Ether, pt.1: Building a 6 GPU Mining Rig
Thanks! This is actually the very first iteration of my mining rigs, they have evolved two or three times since then. I used to run AC units in my commercial space, but winter has allowed me to switch
