My name is Steve Jorgensen. I am CEO of Start Dominating, LLC, and author of “5 Success Secrets of Top Achievers”.

The best word to describe me personally is “brainstormer”. I have always been fascinated with the human mind and the internal forces of good and bad that seem to battle it out in our brains. Each moment, these thoughts play on our emotions and intellect to convince us one way or another to choose between them.

As thoughts continually flood our brain, we balance and weigh out each one. Whether the decision is a simple split-second decision or a very complex one that may take some time, we reach that pinacle moment where the “final decision” is made to take action.

What is it that drives us? Are we in control or do we just think we are? Who is driving this phenomenal machine of mind, body, and spirit? Do we really have “free will”?

The short answer is... we are the driver, we are in full control, and yes... we do have free will!

The problems arise when we are “out of control”. Let me explain...

The cold sobering reality is that the majority of decision making by us humans is driven by “feelings” rather than a rational thought process to be followed by self-discipline.

As far as every single area of life success is concerned, feelings are not a reliable source to tap for consistent results when it comes to sound decision making.

Toss that thought around in your brain for a while, your conclusion could be a life altering epiphany...

The one thing that holds most of us back from a life that overflows with success and consistent winning is that we tend to gravite toward what is most “comfortable”.

At the moment when action is required we usually do whatever is most pleasing. Right or wrong, the final decision we make is usually the one resulting in the most pleasure or least pain... that is what we tend to do.

Did you grasp that concept? We tend to focus on what is comfortable as our conscious thought process combined with our subconscious programming try to convince us to stay in the “comfort zone”.

Here is life. We are in it. If we consistently take the path of least resistence, when do we ever challenge ourselves? Maybe it is not a question of “when...”, but “HOW CAN we ever challenge ourselves?”

You can do it... really! YOU can have such a phenomenal life that you... I really don't know what to say here. I am really struggling at this point of this intro article because it will be so much different for everyone. I will leave it at this... you will have such a phenomenal life... depending upon how serious you take the information that follows.

There, decide for yourself.

So, who are these people that seem to trip over success all the time? The ones who we perceive as if everything is just handed to them on a gold platter?

Those folks are the people with the most “structure” in their lives. They are the planners and the doer's. They know how to WIN and win consistently.

I should really build up what I am going to reveal here because it is life changing... however, I'll just put it out there.

ALL of the worlds Top Achievers possess these 5 very specific character traits:

Motivational Skills
Goal Setting Skills
Organizational Skills
Time Management Skills
Self-discipline Skills

Oh, you have heard of each one of those before? Well you have not heard this!

Top achievers all over the world have mastered each one of those skills. They hold themselves accountable to practice these skills daily in every single aspect of their life. These five skills are interdependent, one upon another.

Lacking just ONE of them will ultimately lead to a life of inconsistent results and failure.

Why?

Think about this for a moment...

Without Motivation, you have no fuel to drive yourself toward your goal. Motivation is “Dream fuel”!
Without Goals, you have nothing to get motivated for to begin with, right?
If you are unorganized, you will not be able to manage your time efficiently and fall behind schedule.
If you do not manage your time correctly, you will be easily distracted and lose focus.
If you lack Self-discipline, you cannot drive the other four skill sets. Self-discipline is the Driving Force!

Does that make sense?

I actually discovered this phenomenon by studying about a dozen million dollar per year earners. I conducted face-to-face interviews, then I sat side-by-side with each of them for two or more days as I observed their very solid and intense work-day. I recorded every gold nugget, everything!

The curious thing that I observed was that EVERY SINGLE ONE of these extraordinary people, so different from one another, they all practiced the same exact skills!

What I learned has inspired me to share my knowledge.

The remarkable thing is that these “top achievers” seemingly figured out all of these things by themselves. Through their desire to succeed, they either sat and contiplated their plan or they just figured it out as they practiced their trade.

These people are the mind-masters, the real brainstormers... the ones that stormed their own brain and had the courage to step out of their comfort zone in order to conquer and control it.

So what is it exactly that they conquered and now control? Their Feelings!

“Feelings” are the “X” factor of the whole personal development realm. Feelings tend to sway us like wind on a tree.

In order to be successful in any life situation, relationships, fitness, career, or whatever it is... we must train ourselves to be “uncomfortable” and learn to accept that feeling, be challenged by it, end even learn to enjoy it! Feelings are the “X” factor, hmmm... they are present in everything you think and do.

Beyond this statement, I will not touch on the five human senses today, but since we are discussing “feelings”, the senses are a driving force in this area. It is a huge subject with many implications and should be mentioned. The senses must be guarded and carefully controlled if we truly seek a full life of success and happiness. Many are lead astray by giving in to the senses. Unfortunately, some get lost, even some beyond repair.

Control is key over self-defeating thoughts.

Moving on...

Our minds are continually reset to “comfort” by default each day that we open our eyes. Your first mind challenge comes when the alarm clock buzzer sounds. Feelings, thoughts, and decisions begin flooding in... another day on the horizon!

The true leader of a successful life, a “Top Achiever” can be anyone... I am not just talking about the rich. If you are thinking in that direction, think again. We are talking about ANYONE that is a consistent achiever in whatever they do.

He or she is the person that sets any goal, then achieves it... health, fitness, relationships, career, or whatever... they master it and conquer it.

They win, they lose, they adjust... they just do it.

The “top achiever” dominates their mind. He or she does not allow self-defeating thoughts to take root in their brain, and their character shows that they are in full control of their destiny. They do what they say they are going to do. If their plan doesn't work right the first time they learn from it, improvise, then re-adjust their goal. They continue moving forward and NEVER QUIT!

Believe it, these people are as ordinary as you and me. They are not gifted in any way, they were just blessed with this information before you and I were.

You can put an end to doubt and confusion. Free yourself from the circular lifestyle of repeating daily patterns, and break free from all the thoughts that are holding you backfrom fulfilling your life dreams.
