The votes go through but it doesn't increase the counter. The displaying is limited to 1000 votes and I believe it is carried over from steem but I'm not sure about that. Anyways, it's already discussed

No. People are posting in regard to their auto-votes? The main goal is to encourage manual curation and content discovery and also, get attention from inactive users. Some people just set the auto-votes

Change is to reduce auto-voting and encourage manual curation. Abuse is subjective. Personally I think there is no such thing as abuse when chain allows users to perform such actions. I understand your

I just wrote a long comment then I somehow lost it. TLDR of my not broadcasted comment: 2 votes/week is not bad for quality content creators. Content creators need more real people than auto-votes. Also,
