The fundamentals are really behind Steem, it is really trading at a bargain at the moment. This project has not decreased in value since it hit its high water mark, rather the opposite.

Steemit.com doubling the web traffic 2 months in a row, exponential growth! (I know it is not 100% accurate data, but it is still very indicative.)

There are a lot of whales on Twitter, what they are trying to do is to gather as many whales so they can take out the entire order book similar to what happened with ETH flash crash on GDAX.
