I drink a lot of wine! Lol. I work in a restaurant and I am able to take the empty bottles home, there is no bottle deposit in florida.

I've seen pictures of that.

I'm not sure about slugs climbing the bottles. I'm fortunate and don't have a slug problem.

I agree! And our plants flourish without added chemicals. We also rely mostly on rain water, only watering newly transplanted plants and plants in containers.
