Well , Several reasons! 1 it looks so much better than a traditional one. 2 there is no need for permission 2 because there is also windows on top it gives enormous mount of light (from the North)

For dis type of windows you don’t need a permission and there is light coming in also from the top, the space you get is as big as a traditional type of roof window! (However we didn’t want to disturb
