RE: Busy Day Planting Seedlings Before the Heatwave - by Sunscape
Good to know about the grow bags. I will put one in that way and I have places in the corners of the raised beds where I can put the rest. The vines can cascade that way, too. I tried eating the young,

Funny, they were threatening a major storm, and it passed us by. I managed to get most of the annuals planted and the jalapenos. Today, I hope to put in some sweet peppers, but I have a lot to do around

Wow, you too! The slips would have been fine had they shipped them a bit earlier in the month. I see that mine are starting to show signs of recovery. I am going to put some in a 2x8 bed too, then the

RE: Big House - Tiny Garden, in Upstate New York State, USA
I have a normal-sized track home lot. But I only grow veggies on the west side of my house, it may be like 35 wide and 45 long. I cram a lot into that small space. My beets are very sporadic, too. I've

You and I both have limited growing space. We do manage to get a large harvest to help sustain us until the following growing season. I put in 150 onions this year, the most ever. I hope they do well,

Wow, you certainly are brave to go into that cold water. I know it is supposed to be good for the body's system, but oh, you made me shiver, lol. That fire looks so warm and cozy and done just in time

You go, girl! That just made me realize I never started any sunflowers. Dang, now I have to do that, otherwise the squirrels find the seeds, lol.

Thank you, I do my best to keep the gardens all nice and tidy. Now, I can start planting some flowers for the butterflies and hummingbirds to enjoy, and of course, the bees.
