Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

When I was 8 years old I started to participate in small competitions, excited and at the same time very nervous, and in spite of that I had the great pleasure of obtaining the first place, from that moment I became more motivated and continued practicing day after day improving in what I love. And so again I had the opportunity to participate in another competition, with better techniques and more experience in my rehearsals, so prepared and more confident and willing to give the best of me, I got for the second time the first place, proud and happy of what I could achieve, it was a nice experience. As time went by, I continued and prepared myself even more and that's how I got the first place 5 times in a row, it was a surprise, this made me grow and believe in my talent. I thank God for giving me the courage, strength and helping me to believe in myself, I know that I still have a lot to learn, to improve and to know and every day is an opportunity to do so. It would be great to sing for you soon.

I guess the fact that I was a shy person also made it difficult for me to perform in the work area, which made me turn down jobs or leave them even the first day I got them. The fact of being like this led me to look for a way to earn income from the privacy of my home; in the search for it, I came across a video on Youtube that talked about a blockchain platform called: CosTV. For the last year I have been solely and exclusively on that platform creating content, although I don't consider myself a content creator yet. It was in CosTV that I met the name of Hive for the first time, seeing that several colleagues were also creating content for this platform. I started to investigate on my own and still didn't know how to join in the most opportune way, so I asked for advice on how to join Hive to a colleague named Sugeily with whom I made friends in CosTV. She suggested me to wait for some Hive classes to start soon and here I am, **congratulations! **

I am an architect by profession and passionate about art, design, and plastic expressions. I like to try different food dishes and explore other cultures, I like pizza a lot, I like pasta a lot and I like healthy food like vegetables, I love to eat fruits such as bananas, blueberries, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, guava, avocado which is super delicious, kiwi, orange, strawberry, apple, I am not a sweet eater but if we talk about dessert the tres leches cake is my favourite, I love it.

In order not to make the story so long I tell you my story of the last 7 years, period of my life of spiritual, physical and mental transformation, where I refer you that I am quasi engineer and by an economic and family crisis I had to leave my studies state in the final stretch, at that time single I return home to help my family to support him economically, managing the business of my sister although I was dedicated in valencia to teaching, I had to say goodbye to my mother, sister and nephews who emigrated to Peru due to a complicated health condition of my nephew, who had already come from the womb with a particular cardiology condition and fortunately was treated successfully in that country. Then to say goodbye for the second time to my mother from this plane since she was one of the many victims of this tragic pandemic and that each one of us transformed us in one way or another, in my case something frustrating and sad since she was in another country and a few hours after her death I spoke to her by video call and asked her to eat since she had been eating very little for two weeks and with a strange throat clearing and flu symptoms. In my process of grief and forced confinement, I bought my cuatro and learned to play the Venezuelan cuatro, sharing my experience with friends and family, meeting wonderful people among them my teacher Julio, a stringed instrument master with more than 50 years of experience. Living and sharing with my adoptive grandparents Carmen and Victor, although Victor is no longer with us they were my neighbors and I say were because Victor died and Carmen left with her daughters who are in Argentina, period of my life that I thank God for putting them in my way and they are people that apart from my mother I love with all my heart.

I was born on July 23rd, and I am currently 18 years old. Recently, I finished my high school studies graduating as a Technician in Administrative Services, mention in Computer Science. I did an internship at the International Airport General en Jefe Santiago Mariño, here in Margarita Island, Nueva Esparta State, Venezuela. I am the youngest of 4 siblings.

Let me tell you that I live in Venezuela in the beautiful Margarita Island, I recently graduated from high school with an average of 19.38 points and in a few days I will start studying Computer Science, I am very excited about it. I liked this career both for programming and digital, but what motivated me the most to choose it is that codes are like languages (I love languages), that few can understand and that knowing how to use them, we can create incredible things.

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

Onboarder Application

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. For more information about this program, please refer to this post.

If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

1. Your Hive username. 2. The types of users you will be inviting. 3. The reason why you want to be part of the onboarding program.

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
