Hahaha, actually it was part of the boat! I'm not too sure what it was used for. Most probably to prevent the boat from hitting the harbour because of the waves.

I agree - that's one way to improve as well! It challenges us to think beyond what we see in our daily lives, which, I feel, breaks its monotony.

Inspiring! I really like the idea of using ordinary objects to create scenes that we cannot really imagine. I usually try to take that idea in my photography (though, currently not as skillful as yours).

This is probably not the real way of doing it, but as an alternative, how about trying Steepshot (for Android)? They are currently beta, sure, but at least you can upload photos which you have posted before.

It's a problem, for sure, especially when they are trying to earn a quick buck from this system. Money issues, for sure! Not entirely sure how we will solve this problem (apart from flagging and reporting).
