With the 1.3x and 1.6x pruning modes enabled, users can shoot incredibly stunning images of 30.5 megapixels each and 19.6 megapixel images.

Mirror vibration control system

Even the smallest blurring of camera shake can ruin the perfect image. Using cam-driven mechanisms to reduce blur effect due to camera shake, EOS 5DS R uses Mirror vibration control system. This mechanism allows the suppression of vibrations that arise during the movement of the mirror. This results in the completion of the camera's full power by reducing the effect of blur on camera shake while softening the sound of the shutter release at the same time.
