I've managed to get node syncing on an ARM chromebook as well. I can also connect to it via mobile Firefox.

I had a problem with rpc.idena.io , couldn't connect to the local node, couldn't run it with nodejs locally. So I used "My Idena" app, turning mining on and off, it's easier to do that there.

I had similar issues, I think I restarted Termux and all was fine.
