It turned out to be one of my best bird experiences. I thought that I would be able to snap the pics with my glove on. that didn't work. After half an hour or so, both hands were freezing. Thanks for the

There were several different kinds of chickadees all over the deck but all of them except the black-capped ones flew off. This morning I had several feeding from my hand within minutes. I hope they don't

It looks like there is plenty to eat in the rice field. We don't see these birds around our neck of the woods. We will soon be headed to Florida and we get a chance to see these magnificent birds there.
