Agreed! The one plus for all of this is Dan Larimer is speaking before legislation and educating them on the principals of blockchain and the advantages of it, which is imo really good for crypto in general

They didn't know it when they were doing the promo. They shortly after got slapped $24,000,000.00 by the SEC which is much less than they have been spending on compliance and have been on the doorsteps

From what I understand the delay is due to US regulation and has nothing to do with them being ready to release a functional version. They've spent a large amount of money seeking compliance.

I'm not all too sure on how things will be different when smt's and communities become effective but I think from what I've read it could bring solutions to some of your critique.
