Just slang from the hood. I grew up in the Bronx, so my demeanor and language can come off strong. What I meant was before one makes claims that they are eating the diet of their ancient ancestors or one

RE: Wild Food: Load Up My Omelette with Dandelions Please!
Anyone on a paleo diet who isn’t eating weeds needs to check themselves. The edible weeds are usually the true super foods. Every vegan and environmentalist that isn’t eating weeds needs to check themselves,

RE: Garden Expansion Part 1: Episode 1 of my new vlog
Thanks! I pretty much live on a 200 foot sand dune. I have some bottom land that is silty sand and wet, but no clay anywhere. I’ve actually come to prefer sand, even raw sand over any other soil type.

RE: Spring In Our Neck of the Woods: Local Mills, Baby Goats, Wildflowers!
You're about a month ahead of me. Spring still hasn't decided to wake up over here up north. The buds of the early bloomers are starting to swell a lot, but only the most early flowers are starting to

RE: Homesteading Reality: Your Beautiful Land May Be Filled With Trash.
My land wasn't occupied or farmed as far as I can tell until the 1989. It was clear cut probably a few times. It's too hilly and sandy to farm, but I'm assuming it was all maple oak and beech, clear cut,

What exactly do you mean? I am by no means deforesting anything. I have 18 acres of forest that would have went to a developer that would have built 30 plus houses here and removed all of the trees. The

RE: Solar Powered Floating Farm Could Provide 9855 Tons Of Food Per Year
No, too much engineering. It’s cost will always be way too much for the food produced. Land isn’t expensive everywhere, just by major cities. If we are this desperate to grow feed, the population needs

I doubt we’ll see this ever in production. The cost to create and maintain a system like this would be astronoical. I’m sure it will also have a negative impact on the aquatic life around it. It will also
