RE: Elon Musk is the greatest car salesman who has ever lived
A couple of things from his announcement regarding the solar roof. First, he said that the energy one needs would come from 1/3 personal solar power and 2/3 utility. Whether that was him playing politics

RE: Hasheer Cloud Mining
Its not only that, its that you have to use this third party product called Payeer which has a very bad reputation rating if you are not using bitcoins to withdraw or deposit. Very, very shady.

RE: Steemit - Business Proposal Review
Hm. Well, that would certainly be interesting. It would give an edge to those who are attempting to do the same type of stuff with their own cryptocurrencies that Steem is trying to do, unless they start

RE: A short video on the reality of wealth distribution in the US
There's a lot of discussion about wealth distribution obviously; the problem is that stuff like this video do not talk about the Laffer Curve, quality of life vs. standard of living and how the fact that

RE: Game Design 101- Step 3: Brainstorm
Its refreshing to see other game developers on here, but its mostly been us programmers. Design is so critical. A lot of great thoughts in your posts so far. I'm looking forward to the prototyping phase.

RE: Easy Tutorial: Computer Programming for DUMMIES -- C++ vs C programming (strings)
Its kind of like the difference between a Toyota Camry and a Ford Mustang. Both cars will get you to where you need to go, but sometimes you want or need the power and control that the manual transmission,

RE: Different sorting algorithms for programming, and why it matters which one you choose
If the array / list is close to being sorted already, it looks like the bubble sort is the fastest sort method of the ones listed, probably because (if I recall correctly, I haven't looked at the code

RE: Simple C++ calculator explained
Awesome! So, obviously, you know what you are doing. In the case of the binary search tutorial, the first thing you pointed out was that it has to be sorted to work. But there's obviously a cost involved

RE: Simple C++ calculator explained
Love the tutorials. Getting into more complex data structures and algorithms, it would be great to emphasize the time complexities and space complexities of operations performed on those data structures,

I would love to see C first, then C++. I'm thinking about it like a textbook, going systematically from one step to the next, which it looks like you are doing. Awesome stuff! What would be really cool,

RE: Simple C++ calculator explained
Yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of C tutorials rather than C++ like the one above, my bad. Sometimes, depending on how one copies array's of characters (or reverses them) in C they forget copying

RE: Simple C++ calculator explained
Great tutorial, we need more tutorials on languages like C and C++. String manipulation will definitely be a big one, introducing pointers, the null character and dynamic memory allocation / deallocation
