Thunder heads over Tsavo. For some reason the storms I see here always seem to be incredibly strong. They appear like a dark purple blotch on the horizon and spread like a bruise till they cover the sky

In Tsavo East in Kenya there is a place where the Galana River is funneled into a narrow channel where it turns into a raging torrent called Lugard's falls. It is a spectacular, noisy and atmospheric place
