RE: Satoshi’s Best Kept Secret: Why is There a 1 MB Limit to Bitcoin Block Size
In this context, I think its very useful to talk about Bitcoin Cash (which has its own tag on steemit) because the 1MB limit has been removed in that "clone-coin" and its doing very well for

I'm not sure how that works in ether, if you have a link that would be nice to understand what you mean. As the release manager of Bitcoin Classic we intend to release a different client under a slightly

RE: There is a serious lack of trust and credibility in the bitcoin community and it needs to be rectified
Bitcoin unfortunately turned into politics. What this means is that instead of finding an independent actor (which doesn't exist, as you found out), you need to find out what group or project makes your

RE: Could this Letter Hold the Key to Satoshi's Wallet? A Letter form Marcel Mellish to Charlie Shrem
Sound like someone trying to hide a message for himself in plain sight. Imagine Satoshi wanting to keep one or more of his private addresses very secret. Maybe using something like a brain wallet. He was

RE: Why Financial Crises Will Continue To Occur As Long As Humans Run The Markets
I go agree on the premise that emotions are a bad influence. But I think you give the human trader much more power than they actually have in affecting the economy as a whole. Change your look higher,

RE: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi too? A Simple Explanation about Where Does Money Come From for Dummies
For any currency or money there is a universal truth. They only have value because people think it has value. Even government backed currencies eventually have to hold to this truism. Bitcoin has its inflation

RE: TomZ; Bitcoin Classic architect and coder joins Steemit!
I always try to explain things less for programmers and more for every day people. If the goal is to inform coders then they can go and read the code or the unit test. ;)

RE: Time to End the Block-Size Blockade - by Roger Ver
Your assumptions are off by quite a lot actually. sha256 chews through about 100MB/s. On 5 year old hardware. And single-threading. So I'm wondering where that 5ms comes from.
