That is a very fair point! I agree that it felt like a stand alone film and I have to give credit to the director for incorporating the cultures and traditions of African tribes. There were a few flaws

That is a tough one but I think I have to say Shawshank Redemption because I feel like the director brilliantly made the film so that the audience feels a huge connection to the main character, Andy Dufresne.
