Hola soy Valentina Dimas tengo 24 años de edad, residenciada en Maturín Estado Monagas, Venezuela y estoy muy feliz de por fin poder pertenecer a este maravilloso blog. Mi familia es un poco difícil de explicar, pero para resumirles tengo dos madres y dos padres, mi madre que me trajo al mundo y mi madre que me crío, siendo esta la hermana de mi mama, dos papas el encargado de mi existir y el que me crío, siendo este el esposo de biológicamente mi tía pero sentimentalmente mi mama, mi papa biológico tuvo 7 hijos incluyéndome, siendo yo la única mujer, tengo un hermano que es mi vida y una de las personas más importantes en mi vida, pero que biológicamente es mi primo, a la mayoría de mis hermanos biológicos no los conozco, otro pilar importantes en mi vida mi abuela, la cual está en el cielo, pero siempre en mi corazón. Mi familia materna es muy unida, grande y bella, me enseñaron las cosas más importantes de la vida y son ellos, la familia, los valores y a encontrar felicidad en los momentos, en los abrazos, en los momentos de unión y risas, la mayoría de las veces la felicidad son momentos y no cosas materiales, también son los logros, metas y sueños que con mucho esfuerzo cumplimos. Desde pequeña siempre me ha gustado el arte, empecé a bailar a los 4 años de edad, desde que tengo uso de razón amo la danza, y muchas ramas del arte, siempre soñé con ser una bailarina reconocida y convertirme en coreógrafa, poco a poco y con el pasar de los años fui logrando ese sueño de bebé, luego las metas se ampliaron y los sueños crecieron y un día estaba allí siendo aplaudida de pie por la figura de la danza más importante del país, como lo es la maestra Yolanda Moreno creadora en conjunto con su esposo de nuestra danza nacionalista, les juro que se los cuento y aun puedo revivir ese gratificante y magnificó momento tan importante en mi vida. La danza es un arte hermoso, el contar una historia sin necesidad de decir una palabra, es algo increíble, la danza es vida, es amor, es inspiración y está llena de tropiezos y momentos que te hacen fuerte, que te cambian la perspectiva de la vida, te enseña a levantarte cuantas veces te caigas, a tener sentido de pertenencia y a amar tu cuerpo que en este arte, es nuestro instrumento. La danza está llena de energía, de lágrimas y sudor que son recompensados con segundos de aplausos que para nosotros es la gloria, lo es todo. Gracias a la danza tuve la dicha de pisar los escenarios y eventos más importantes del país, como lo son el Miss Venezuela, Míster Universo, El concurso By Osmel Sousa, Miss Tierra y canal nacional más importante como lo es Venevisión, y tener la satisfacción y compromiso de bailarle a todo un país entero, millones de espectadores, es una experiencia llena de mucha adrenalina y nervios, mi maestro siempre nos ha dicho que el día que dejemos de sentir nervios antes de salir a bailar es porque hasta ese día debemos hacerlo. ![IMG_9730.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/valentinadimas/23xyLcMqWoqwqVeik4ptUNL48JUF531coewSWLvLe2TSAuvXLkqWqkkZDRaE9RDQZJ6Ck.jpg) Yo por querer complacer a mi madre, la cual es una gran mujer, una profesional increíble, sobreviviente del cáncer en dos oportunidades, siempre he pensado que lo merece todo y ella nunca quiso el arte para mí, intenté estudiar ingeniería mecánica un año, pero no me sentía bien, me sentía vacía, aunque les cuento un secreto, me escapaba de clases para ir bailar. Luego dejé la carrera y me cambie por ingeniería en sistemas allí estuve tres años, pero no era completamente feliz, necesitaba mi arte, igual nunca lo deje, pero no estaba en el al 100%, deje esa carrera y realice el último intento por mi mama y me metí a estudiar comunicación social, otra de las carreras que mi madre quería para mí, allí estuve otro año, lógicamente en ese año nunca deje mi arte, pero igual no me sentía completa, en todos esos tres intentos entendí que no nací para eso, que no todos nacemos para la ingeniería, periodismo o la educación, algunos solo somos un poco distintos, entendí que nací para el arte, entendí que el arte me hace feliz, que me llena y que me mantiene viva, también entendí que nacemos para vivir nuestra propia historia, no la que otros quieren cumplir a través de nosotros, sabiendo que mi madre siempre ha querido lo mejor para mí, no entendió nunca que yo no pertenecía a ese mundo que ella quería meterme, seguí mi vida y haciendo arte al 100%, la verdad no me arrepiento de mis decisiones porque gracias a ellas soy la mujer feliz de hoy en día.

De pequeña también me gustó el modelaje y la fotografía, inicie siendo modelo, estudie foto pose por dos años, e inicié mi carrera como modelo, logrando así reconocimiento regional, nacional e internacional, viaje a Europa, específicamente Italia, allí firme un contrato con una importante agencia en Roma y asistí a eventos importantes, como la alfombra azul del lanzamiento de uno de los perfumes de la Dolce and Gabbana , rodeando de personas reconocidas como el Modelo Mariano Di Vaio. Finalice lo que debía realizar allá y regrese a Venezuela por cosas personales e inicie mi actual arte, que es el de la fotografía, tengo dos años como fotógrafa, es maravilloso capturar momentos, sentimientos y vivencias, ver sonreír a alguien cuando le entregas el trabajo finalizado y mirar el resultado de algo que tu pudiste ver y otros no.

También me gusta producir eventos y he tenido la dicha de realizar algunos regional y nacionalmente, y por último sueño con convertirme en dj, acompáñenme ustedes esta vez con el inicio de esta nueva etapa y faceta en mi vida. Hello I am Valentina Dimas. I am 24 years old, I live in Maturin, Monagas State, Venezuela and I am very happy to finally be able to belong to this wonderful blog. My family is a bit difficult to explain, but to summarize I have two mothers and two fathers, my mother who brought me into the world and my mother who raised me, this being my mother's sister, two fathers the one in charge of my existence and the one who raised me, this being the husband of biologically my aunt but sentimentally my mother, my biological father had 7 children including me, being me the only woman, I have a brother who is my life and one of the most important people in my life, but who biologically is my cousin, most of my biological siblings I do not know, another important pillar in my life my grandmother, who is in heaven, but always in my heart. My maternal family is very united, big and beautiful, they taught me the most important things in life and they are them, the family, the values and to find happiness in the moments, in the hugs, in the moments of union and laughter, most of the times happiness are moments and not material things, they are also the achievements, goals and dreams that with a lot of effort we accomplish. Since I was a little girl I have always loved art, I started dancing at the age of 4 years old, since I can remember I love dance, and many branches of art, I always dreamed of being a recognized dancer and become a choreographer, gradually and over the years I was achieving that dream as a baby, Then the goals expanded and dreams grew and one day I was there being applauded standing by the figure of the most important dance of the country, as is the teacher Yolanda Moreno creator together with her husband of our nationalist dance, I swear I tell them and I can still relive that gratifying and magnificent moment so important in my life. Dance is a beautiful art, to tell a story without saying a word, is something incredible, dance is life, is love, is inspiration and is full of stumbles and moments that make you strong, that change your perspective on life, it teaches you to get up as many times as you fall, to have a sense of belonging and to love your body that in this art, is our instrument. Dance is full of energy, tears and sweat that are rewarded with seconds of applause that for us is the glory, it is everything. Thanks to dance I had the joy of stepping on the stages and most important events in the country, such as Miss Venezuela, Mister Universe, the contest By Osmel Sousa, Miss Earth and the most important national channel such as Venevision, and have the satisfaction and commitment to dance to an entire country, millions of viewers, it is an experience full of adrenaline and nerves, my teacher has always told us that the day we stop feeling nervous before going out to dance is because until that day we must do it. ![IMG_9730.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/valentinadimas/23xyLcMqWoqwqVeik4ptUNL48JUF531coewSWLvLe2TSAuvXLkqWqkkZDRaE9RDQZJ6Ck.jpg) I wanted to please my mother, who is a great woman, an incredible professional, a cancer survivor twice, I have always thought that she deserves everything and she never wanted art for me, I tried to study mechanical engineering for a year, but I did not feel good, I felt empty, although I tell you a secret, I would escape from classes to go dancing. Then I left the career and changed to systems engineering, I was there for three years, but I was not completely happy, I needed my art, I never left it, but I was not in it 100%, I left that career and made the last attempt for my mom and I went to study social communication, another career that my mother wanted for me, there I was another year, logically in that year I never left my art, but I still did not feel complete, in all those three attempts I understood that I was not born for that, that not all of us are born for engineering, I understood that I was born for art, I understood that art makes me happy, that it fills me and keeps me alive, I also understood that we are born to live our own story, not the one that others want to fulfill through us, knowing that my mother has always wanted the best for me, she never understood that I did not belong to that world that she wanted to put me in, I continued my life and doing art 100%, the truth is that I do not regret my decisions because thanks to them I am the happy woman I am today.

As a child I also liked modeling and photography, I started being a model, I studied photo pose for two years, and began my career as a model, achieving regional, national and international recognition, I traveled to Europe, specifically Italy, there I signed a contract with an important agency in Rome and attended important events, such as the blue carpet of the launch of one of the perfumes of Dolce and Gabbana, surrounded by recognized people like the model Mariano Di Vaio. I finished what I had to do there and returned to Venezuela for personal reasons and started my current art, which is photography, I have two years as a photographer, it is wonderful to capture moments, feelings and experiences, to see someone smile when you deliver the finished work and look at the result of something that you could see and others could not.

I also like to produce events and I have had the joy of making some regional and nationally, and finally I dream of becoming a dj, join me this time with the beginning of this new stage and facet in my life.
