Kekuatan yang sudah tercermin kuat dari seri pertamanya ini disempurnakan di seri kedua ini. Desain dunia yang lebih besar dan lebih beragam dari sisi konten, tetap dihadirkan dengan kualitas yang pantas untuk mendapatkan acungan jempol. Bahwa kini, Anda akan bertarung melawan pasukan Rebels, dan mungkin berakhir melawan Leia Organa atau bahkan, Luke Skywalker. Namun apa yang Anda dapatkan? Kekecewaan, setidaknya hal itulah yang kami rasakan. Bahwa mimpi untuk menjadi “pejahat” dalam cerita dan melakukan banyak hal buruk dengan kacamata plot yang baru bisa berakhir menjadi sesuatu yang keren, apalagi jika ia juga menjadi basis penjelasan bangkitnya The First Order – organisasi jahat baru di Episode VII. Yang terjadi justru sebaliknya. Terlepas dari fakta bahwa mereka terus menggembar-gemborkan cerita soal bagaimana Anda akan berperan sebagai Imperial dalam mode campaign, Iden Versio ternyata mengubah pihak yang ia dukung hanya dalam porsi cerita sekitar 35% dari total cerita yang ada. Benar sekali, lewat sebuah pertentangan moral yang ada, ia bergabung ke dalam tentara Rebels, punya hubungan dekat dengan Leia, dan bertarung melawan Imperial. Dalam kata yang singkat, seperti sebuah cerita kepahlawanan yang klise, EA dan DICE ternyata “bermain aman”.

Ini tentu saja jadi pukulan telak yang mengecewakan. Apalagi jika harus diperhatikan lebih dalam, perubahan sikap ini terasa tidak serasional yang dibayangkan. Bahwa Anda, seorang prajurit khusus, yang seharusnya memahami seluk-beluk terdalam pihak yang Anda perjuangkan, ternyata bisa berakhir berbalik melawan hanya karena satu momen pertentangan moral. Bahwa Anda, yang juga punya ayah seorang Admiral yang tidak pernah segan untuk memerintahkan Anda untuk menghancurkan para Rebels, bisa jatuh mendukung oposisi begitu saja tanpa konflik batin. Lebih buruknya lagi? Aksi Anda selama menjadi Imperial selama ini, yang bahkan sempat membunuh puluhan pasukan Rebels pada saat berusaha kabur dari penjara di scene pertama, ternyata tidak memberikan konsekuensi apapun. Bahwa terlepas dari semua dosa besar tersebut, Rebels menyambut dan mempercayai Anda begitu saja. Kelemahan dari sisi cerita dan keputusan untuk “bermain aman” ini juga didukung dengan gameplay yang sayangnya, tidak bisa dibilang menarik. Pada akhirnya, setiap chapter mode campaign ini berakhir tidak banyak berbeda dari mode Arcade yang Anda kenal, hanya saja, kini disuguhkan dengan ekstra cerita di atasnya. Beberapa misi meminta Anda untuk bertahan melewati gelombang musuh atau sekedar menghabisi setiap dari mereka sebelum berakhir ke titik checkpoint setelahnya, untuk melakukan hal yang sama kembali. Tidak ada proses dramatisasi ala Call of Duty misalnya, demi menciptakan atmosfer pertempuran yang lebih epik. Semuanya berjalan lugas, seperti layaknya mode Arcade, hanya kini dengan ekstra misi di atasnya. Setidaknya, sesi pertempuran luar angkasanya tetap berakhir menarik. Satu-satunya hal terbaik dari mode campaign ini adalah fakta bahwa ia menjadi jembatan cerita canon untuk apa yang terjadi antara Episode VI dan VII, terutama menyangkut beragam puing-puing pesawat raksasa yang tersisa di Jakku begitu saja. Setidaknya, terlepas dari kekecewaan besar bahwa Iden berakhir menjadi pasukan Rebels, benang merah yang dikaitkan masih terhitung keren. Apalagi untuk beberapa titik permainan dimana Anda memainkan karakter yang berbeda. Bagi kami, highlight-nya justru terjadi ketika Anda berperan sebagai Kylo Ren sebagai epilogue, tengah berupaya melakukan aktivitas yang bersambung langsung ke scene awal Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

4.Multiplayer

Walaupun hadir dengan moda campaign, mode multiplayer Star Wars Battlefront II tetap jadi tulang punggung utama. Tulang punggung yang seharusnya menjadi alasan utama mengapa ia akan dilirik, namun sayangnya, berakhir menjadi alasan utama kontroversi buruk yang menghantuinya selama beberapa minggu terakhir ini. Karena harus diakui, terlepas dari ragam masalah lootbox yang akan kita bicarakan nanti, ia sebenarnya mengusung mode multiplayer yang menyenangkan. Bahwa tidak sekedar klaim saja, DICE memenuhi janji mereka untuk menciptakan sensasi multiplayer yang lebih bervariasi dan terstruktur dibandingkan seri pertamanya. Ada beberapa mode yang bisa Anda pilih untuk multiplayer ini, walaupun intisari pertempuran epiknya terletak di dua mode: Galactic Assault dan Starfighter Assault. Ada mode Strike – yang memuat Anda dalam pertempuran PvP dalam skala yang lebih kecil dengan tanpa kendaraan sama sekali di dalamnya atau Hero vs Villain yang langsung akan menerjukan Anda dalam pertarungan antara karakter antagonis dan protagonis yang ditawarkan game ini dalam format berbasis point. Setiap karakter ini akan bisa mengakses skill mereka seperti halnya mode pertempuran biasa, yang tentu saja, harus Anda maksimalkan untuk mencapai kemenangan. Mode yang lain adalah Arcade, yang seperti seri pertamanya, memungkinkan Anda untuk bertempur melawan AI yang datang dalam ragam varian dan gelombang.

Namun seperti yang kami bicarakan di atas, daya tarik utama memang terletak pada dua mode – Galactic Assault dan Starfighter Assault yang masing-masing akan membawa Anda pada pertempuran di beragam planet dan objektif yang berbeda. Galactic Assault sendiri merupakan pertempuran 20 vs 20 yang tidak lagi berbasis sekedar jumlah kill atau sejenisnya untuk dimenangkan, tetapi berbasis objektif. Setiap peta akan punya objektif berbeda yang mendorong Anda untuk saling bekerjasama agar bisa dimenangkan. Berita baiknya? Format seperti ini membuat pertempuran selalu menegangkan. Selalu menarik melihat begitu banyak user dalam satu pihak berusaha untuk mempertahankan atau justru menembus pertahanan tertentu, dengan variasi yang cukup untuk membuat Anda tak bosan dengan rotasi yang ada. Berita buruknya SWBF II mengusung salah satu sistem Squad paling tidak berguna yang pernah ditawarkan sebuah video game. Ia akan secara otomatis memasangkan Anda dengan 4 player lain secara acak dalam satu Squad, tanpa ada kesempatan untuk berkomunikasi aktif lewat suara dan teks. Padahal dari sisi pondasi, EA dan DICE sebenarnya sudah bergerak ke arah yang benar. Bahwa ada dorongan kerjasama yang efektif lewat implementasi sistem kelas yang terbagi menjadi empat kategori utama yang masing-masing darinya akan hadir dengan senjata dan equipment yang berbeda. Masing-masing kelas akan punya satu senjata utama, satu kemampuan spesifik, dan satu buah granat yang bisa dilempar untuk ragam kepentingan. Sibuk menyelesaikan objektif, berusaha membantu tim menyelesaikan objektif, atau sekedar membunuh musuh yang Anda temui akan otomatis memberikan point ekstra untuk Anda. Begitu point sudah terkumpul, Anda bisa menggunakannya untuk “membeli” pasukan khusus untuk membantu kerja tim Anda. Anda bisa membeli varian pasukan lebih kuat dengan jetpack atau flamethrower, kendaraan dari darat dan udara, hingga hero ikonik yang tentu akan punya peran yang signifikan dalam pertempuran lewat kemampuan serang dan bertahan mereka yang luar biasa. Walaupun jumlah point yang mesti Anda kumpulkan terhitung cukup besar, namun ia akan tetap rasional untuk dikumpulkan selama Anda bermain dengan baik. Anda yang bermain buruk sekalipun, setidaknya masih mungkin untuk memerankan satu pasukan khusus sebelum pertempuran berakhir.

5.Grinding, Lootbox, Tamak

Maka seperti berita yang sepertinya akan sudah pasti sempat Anda dengar lewat informasi yang mengalir selama beberapa minggu terakhir ini, EA dan DICE sepertinya memang punya agenda spesifik yang sangat jelas ketika membicarakan desain Star Wars: Battlefront II itu sendiri. Benar sekali, membuat Anda merasa se-frustrasi mungkin dan secepat mungkin angkat tangan, untuk membeli lootbox dengan menggunakan uang nyata untuk mendapatkan segala sesuatu yang Anda butuhkan. Sistem Pay to Win ini akan kita bicarakan di sesi selanjutnya, terlepas dari fakta bahwa EA sudah mencabut sistem microtransactions yang ada. Karena percaya atau tidak, sistem tersebut sebenarnya masih bertahan. Mari kita bicarakan terlebih dahulu dua sistem tertolol yang pernah kami temukan di sebuah game multiplayer berbayar – Grinding dan Lootbox. Apa yang Anda dapatkan jika Anda mendesain sebuah game dengan harapan untuk menjual microtransactions, dan kemudian secara panik membuang microtransactions tersebut? Benar sekali, sebuah game mengecewakan yang kini tetap mengecewakan, namun tak lagi punya solusi “ajaib” bernama uang untuk mengobati kekecewaan tersebut. Bahwa Anda masih berhadapan dengan satu pondasi sistem sama yang membuat progress perkembangan permainan Anda menjadi satu lelucon besar. Multiplayer yang seharusnya santai dan menyenangkan, dimana Anda hanya perlu berpikir bagaimana caranya untuk menghasilkan performa efektif di pertempuran dan menang, kini disibukkan dengan segudang perhitungan matematis yang melekat pada satu kata – grinding. Dengan tidak adanya lagi microtransactions “pay to win” saat review ini ditulis, satu-satunya cara untuk mendapatkan Credits – mata uang digital untuk SWBF II adalah dengan memainkan ragam mode yang ada. Dengan menggunakan Credits ini, Anda bisa membeli beberapa Hero ikonik yang terkunci di balik Credtis dan tidak akan bisa Anda gunakan sebelum Anda membeli dan tentu saja juga, membeli lootbox untuk sistem progression yang acak. Untuk yang kedua ini, akan kami jelaskan nanti. Namun saat ini, mari berfokus pada betapa mustahil dan anehnya sistem penguncian Hero dan fakta bahwa Anda harus melakukan proses grinding untuk membuka setiap dari mereka.

Namun perlu diingat, setiap pertempuran yang Anda jalani maksimal (sebelum disesuaikan di update terakhir) hanya memberikan Anda maksimal 500 Credits tergantung performa. Bayangkan berapa jumlah pertempuran yang harus Anda selesaikan untuk membeli 1 Hero saja. Oke? Terdengar menyiksa untuk Anda? Tunggu dulu. Karena jumlah Credits yang Anda dapatkan tidak didasarkan pada seberapa baik performa Anda di dalam permainan, tetapi dari WAKTU LAMA 1 MATCH itu sendiri. Benar sekali, semakin lama match berlangsung, semakin tinggi jumlah Credits yang Anda dapatkan. Anda berhasil tampil gemilang dan menyelesaikan 1 match dalam 15 menit? Selamat, karena menang ataupun kalah, Anda hanya akan mendapatkan sekitar 100-150 Credits saja untuk aksi Anda tersebut. Tidak ada reward untuk tampil gemilang karena berusaha menyelesaikan pertempuran secepat mungkin. Hasilnya? Makin cepat Anda menang, makin lama proses grinding untuk membeli Hero ini terjadi.

Sebelum memainkaan games ini terdapat : menu campaign, Multiplayer , dan menu arcade. Disini Saya hanya menyelesaikan misi di menu campaign saja pilih menu campaign , dan sebelum berperang kita mendengar terlebih dahulu alur cerita nya setelah selesai alur cerita nya , disini kita berperan menjadi wanita yang dimana kita di tangkap oleh musuh star wars , saat kita di beri pertanyaan oleh musuh kita melihat ada ada topeng musuh star wars dan kita memakai nya dan tiba tiba kita pingsan dan tidak menyadarkan diri. Setelah itu kita menjadi semua robot kecil yang berbentuk gurita robot ini akan membantu kita untuk keluar dari penjara musuh dan robot ini masih keliling ruangan untuk mencari kita di ruangan mana kah kita di taruk , saat kita keliling disini kita sangat lah hati hati jangan sampai kita ketahuan oleh penjaga nya jika ketahuan robot kita akan mati di tembak oleh penjaga. Dan akhir nya robot kita ketemu ruangan kita terperangkap dan setelah berjumpa dengan kita , borgol kita akan di lepas sama robot kita dengan menggunakan laser robot kita. Setelah itu kita akan melarikan diri dari ruangan itu dengan diam – diam kita akan membunuh satu persatu penjaga nya supaya kita bisa melarikan diri dari, dan saat melarikan diri kita mendapatkan senjata untuk bisa membunuh penjaga nya dengan senjata. dan kita berkeliling ruangan ini untuk bisa keluar dari ruangan dan setelah itu kita masuk keruangan teknisi untuk bisa berkomunikasi sama teman kita untuk mengetahui cara keluar dari tempat musuh. Dan akhir nya kita keluar juga dari tempat musuh. Selesai lah misi kita di misi campaign dan kita kembali ke team star wars kita.
