RE: Announcing the Social Blockchain Working Group
I would be much more excited about it if they were working on ways to improve steem, not kill it in a roundabout way.

Yep, exactly this. You guys caused this mess with your actions. Own it and get this thing straightened out before it's too late. Do what is good for steem instead of just whining that you are not in the

The same "solid reasons" could be applied to literally hundreds of posts on here yet it was only enforced on those select few. Which is why they have "felt" bullied.

Whether being bullied or not is often in the eye of the beholder and they have stated numerous times that has how they have "felt". It's also certainly looked that way from the outside as well,

Awesome, so if successful this will take all value from steem? Why don't you try building something that will benefit steem.

Who is developing SMTs these days? Didn't the developers working on them quit?

It's pretty difficult to get listed on the big exchanges these days.

Yep. I don't agree with all of this, but there is a lot of truth in there. Steem has mostly had the same groups of people calling the shots. They have gotten steem from a top 5 coin to a top 80 coin, not

The Koreans don't feel the same way because they have been bullied and ganged up on for the last year by many of the previous top witnesses and their friends. I can't blame them for wanting something different

It looks very much like the only reason he is keeping his witnesses in there is to prevent his stake from being frozen again. Well that and to possibly to do a hardfork to bail out the exchanges he used

Yep, you are spot on. They had a handful of the largest whale votes which was the only thing keeping them in. Which is also why they never got around to changing the witnesses voting protocols long ago

A group that mostly vote for each other, on each other's posts, and on each others SPS proposals. Not to mention the softfork. That is what he is getting at, and it's more than just his perception. It's

We had and still have a situation where many of the previous witnesses had been witnesses for a long time, collecting 350 steem per day and voting each other in and keeping each other in. As they (witnesses)

That is not comparable. What do you think starts happening when only a couple whales start selling their steem for the token of this new blockchain? The price per coin goes down, and probably quickly.

Fix with what? The development team quit. The SPS mostly funds witness related projects and the governance is locked in a stalemate with no end in sight.

Yes, so those that have invested (either time or money) in steem will lose their investment. Which is the majority of people here.

Thanks. The argument about SP and point's was a ridiculous one. We will never know what Justin would have done. I have a hunch he would not have taken over the chain, but he could have.

It's a separate blockchain in the same way that bitcoin is separate from steem. If it does what steem was supposed to do, only better, value leaves steem and goes to the better blockchain.
