I think it will last that long - electric cars are going to be a multi-trillion dollar industry. The payoff is too large to miss out on.

My two cents: Tesla (along with space-x) is doing what is needed. These electric cars that Tesla produces have amazing reliability. These cars - aside from replacing the battery packs about every 10 years

Of course we have choices. Everything is a choice, everything matters. As long as you spread thoughts like that, you are promoting a self-fulfilling prophecy.
