Perhaps this should be compared to investing in shares with a dividend payout? The price of those can fluctuate a lot but you still get dividends every year. There's a risk that the investment will reduce

I'm not keen on gambling. EOS has lots of those apps, I prefer Steem Monsters, something that makes Steem different.
