Ideology in a nutshell is nothing more than a thought or ideas but not every thought or ideas are ideology. Thought or ideas are divide into two extents. One call people thought or day to day ideas to counter the upcoming argument or problem in daily life. Another one call scholar thought or a well structured thought, a logic thought that want to turn a particular social into a better social. That last thought is consider as theory or ideology.

Ideology play two major roles in political and social affairs. First it constructed political system, states at least adopted one or more ideologies in their political system. Secondly it unified people into one identity or one community, it does not matter which ethnics or religious they came from.

Believe it or not ideology embedded soft power in it. Ideology influence the way of people think and react to their social, it give people that superior mindset to make change on something. This kind of power had caused three dramatic changed in world history already.

1. The changing world order, the changed in political system through out the world. Bipolar system was shutdown with new born of multipolar system, a system where ideologies completed with each other the way United States fought Soviet Union in cold war period.

2. 'Post-ism', the birth of new ideologies that base on the existing one but been modified into a practical way within particular social. It changed the way people look at other ideologies and people start to acknowledge that ideologies in first place was made to make our world into a better place.

3. Globalization affects political ideologies in variety of ways. One of them was the provoke of nationalism, perhaps it was the best thing ever happen during colonialism period. People were dragging by one mindset toward the claim of self-determination and independent. The fear fate away and the mental power rise.

Ideology already made a significant impact on the world history. No one know if it will do it again later on, maybe it will when people tired of current system or when scholar find a new ideology that work better than the existing ones.
