I found out about the contest initiated by @anomadsoul where he will be giving away some major delegated Steem Power. I wanted to nominate someone who fits all the criteria to win. I wanted to nominate someone participating in the community and that is working to help build it in a positive way. One of the most positive things I could think of when it comes to helping this community grow is helping new people on the platform. From what I got from the original contest post that you can read here, this contest and reward is for those that don't have the power to help the community as much as they could. Gadget

_{Image Source} I know when I first started Steemit, not so long ago, it was confusing and quite intimidating. There were a few select Steemians that made me feel welcome or helped me out with the newbie stuff... or even answered a question or two about coding and markdown... and that is what I won't forget. @GoGoGadgetUpvote was one of the first people I came across that was taking the initiative as an individual to help get new introduction posts more widely circulated and upvoted. My favorite part is that he had criteria and standards too! Having quality control while at the same time helping those first getting started to get engaged and plugged in to the community with incentive I felt was priceless. Gadget1

_{Image Source} I don't even have a slider yet... so I have to be a bit sparing myself when voting as not to exhaust my voting power, I can only begin to imagine how complicated it gets when you have a community or objective to accomplish. I witnessed firsthand that @GoGoGadgetUpvote is a terrific steward of delegated SP. He was one of the first people that inspired me to always be on the hunt to help out newer people too. Sharing is caring and every intro post of quality I would tag him in the post. (Steemit doesn't notify you of when you are tagged YET! But it Should!) I didn't want the daily bounty... I feel it's one of the most encouraging and least confusing way to help out new people with their entry onto the platform as well as a very interesting way to offer alluring incentives to curate in that area! The irony is that the "Learn Something New Every Day" Contest, which is extremely engaging and fun, has become more rewarding by participation than the almost daily introduce yourself contest. I feel this may change if there was more to offer in incentives for the curation of the introduce my/yourself categories. As this platform grows we will need people like @blocktrades and @anomadsoul and @gogogadgetupvote to be there helping develop what truly gives and brings value to the plaform as a whole and all of it's communities, The Steemians! I am sorry my entry was so late... but I truly hope you or any Big Fish will consider offering @GoGoGadgetUpvote some delgated Steem Power in support of all the selfless work yet to be done! The Inspector gets my vote for the Role Model Steemian Contest!
