As well as the usual steps gained during the commute, I also made it to the gym today - start as you mean to go on.
It's been over a week since I made the short trip downstairs to the gym, which is pretty lame considering I don't even have to venture outside. Getting home an hour after it's gone dark is hardly workout out inspiring (more like slippers and dressing gown) but with all the crap food and beer I've been consuming recently, something needs to be done before it gets out of control.
I've also had a little more luck on Tinder as of late, and so there is that kind of motivation creeping in - which I don't consider a bad thing at all - anything to get you exercising I say.
A jog on the steepest gradient the old treadmill will allow, 2000 metres rowing (which probably added 0 steps), and 20 minutes with the 16 kg bell - the only decent weighted item down there was enough to break a sweat, and bring me short of breath.
Now I just need to do the same tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day...
Cheers
Asher
