Hello everyone! The day started out with church, which we always enjoy. After fellowship following the service we went home to grab a couple of things before heading out to the church picnic. The food was good, the fellowship good and the games good!😎👍
After returning home, we waited a bit for the heat to dissipate as I’m not handling it well this year😔 Then, it was off for the mountain hike. Because of changing our route now and again, it seems like it’d been a while since we had done the full thing. The dirt trails were like pillows compared to country road pavement, lol. My knees much prefer the forest trails for sure. 😎
It’s time to wind down and think about bed.
Today’s eye candy; behind the Fitbit stats was the view just before emerging from the forest. Then, there’s the sunset after we emerged. And, lastly, a garden snake as it rested on the warm gravel at the start of our hike.
