Hey everybody!! Thanks for stopping by!
I got up this morning to rain once again, but that was okay as I had errands to run and things to do!
First on my list was to wrap my daughter’s presents and get them packed and ready to ship. So I gathered the paper, tape and scissors and proceeded to get that task done. Then, I had to find a box just the right size to ship it in. I didn’t want something overly large that I would have to stuff with paper. Fortunately, I had just the right size box in house, so after getting everything neatly packed and taped up, proceeded to make the shipping label. Then it was off to the post office!
I was amazed that I walked into a vacant post office! There was nobody in line. That’s quite astounding this time of year. I dropped the package off with the guy at the counter and then asked him about a package Amazon said they were holding. He found that and then he brought me Jan and Jim’s mail, as I was to collect that once this month and then next month. Then it was off to the grocery to pick up a couple of items.
Once home, Got the lost Amazon package opened to make sure I got all that I had ordered. I am now officially done with Christmas shopping! Yippee! Now all I have to do is wrap it! Oh boy……
We did squeeze in an afternoon hike up to the off grid cabin as the rain had stopped and that was about all the daylight we had time for. The clouds have been very interesting this year as in years past, neither Mike nor I can recall being above them and watching them roll by below us, or ascend the valley to just barely make it to where we are and then move on. There have been multiple layers of clouds at lower elevations than I’ve seen before. It makes for some interesting pictures at times.
This cloud you see sort of toward the back of the picture, was moving down a small valley just below us which happens to be the road we live on. It was headed south at the time....looking for a warmer climate?
After the hike, we headed out to do one more run to Bellingham for foodstuffs that are too expensive at the local grocery to buy, and to get some Christmas bags for gifts for my coworkers.
Tomorrow will be my ‘Monday’ at work, so it’s sure to be busy! That’s it for now.
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to keep on steppin’! Any exercise is good for you, so keep at it. Have a wonderful day wherever you are!
