It snowed all day long yesterday and was my first powder day at Loveland. The powder was deep, soft, and amazing. The upper ridge was shut down but the lower basins filed up and were so good. I ran mostly black and double black runs with a few ex runs down shutes.
The drive is long from Co Springs but worth it for the amazing experience. The wind was blowing so hard at times I could not see 20 feet in front of my skiis. Truly an epic day of skiing.
Today we went skiing again and it was fully epic. More about that tomorrow.
I have been having trouble with eating as always when on a trip. The elevation doesn't help with the appetite as I have experienced before, but I am aware and working on it. Frustrating for me to have this mental speed bump that keeps showing up so I have been working on it and hopefully have a bit of a new tact to address it.
