While driving out of town with girlfriend, we stumbled upon a street fair halfway to our destination. More about that in the future.
But the fair, oh the fair. Music coming from somewhere, smells of delicious foods, dancers, handcrafted trinkets, homebrew beer - you know of what I speak.
Even if you have no intention of buying anything, you'll still end up walking around coveting everything. And I did buy some stuff. First of all, I love honey, I use it in foods, I put it on toast and so on. So I bought some propolis honey, which is good for about a hundred and one ailments and for your overall health, I also snagged buckwheat honey, just because it intrigued me. All in all, they all taste similar, with small different nuances. But variety is king.
I also bought some delicious raspberry tomatoes (apparently that's a thing) and a jam made of rowan and juniper berries. This jam is delicious on any steak or meat product. So this day has barely started but I already feel that it's a giant success :)
