End of the week and time to rest. But not before I have a food adventure with at Nea Philadelphia.
It's called Twist East.
I was particularly impressed by the decoration.
It gets you in the mood right away. Eastern and Vintage Greek.
We got a veggie salad, with goat cheese and ham. We were too hungry to be patient for a proper photo and we had a Mamos beer which was very good.
Then we had this loukoumas ( kind of a dough ) with fresh tomatoes on top and cheese. It was very good.
For main course, we got these sandwiches. Mine was called Biphana Mana and had smoked cooked pork, yogurt sauce and two fried eggs. I chose it because of the extra protein.
And got this one with sliced grilled pork , tomatoes and yogurt. It was called Biphana Tsilve.
The quality of the food was excellent and the size of portions more than enough. You can see it from the pictures. And the prices were reasonable. I think I would like to try some of their grilled meats one day.
Another successful Food Adventure in my book.
And I haven't neglected my step count duties.
