I got back this evening from our mrshill’s birthday weekend away and went for a 3.8K run.
The weekend was lovely, starting with dinner with my parents in Katoomba on Friday night at the Avalon hotel where a local jazz group entertained us over two epic sets. On Saturday morning on the way to Orange we visited a goat dairy in Lidsdale and picked up some yummy cheeses. I loved this because that’s the life I would love - a bit of land in the country looking after a few dairy goats and making cheese! We visited a couple of wineries in the Orange region in the afternoon and picked up some more stuff at an awesome grocer just outside of town. In the evening we made a fire in the chimenea in the backyard of our Airbnb and ate and drank some of our day’s finds. On the way back home today we visited the sweet old town of Millthorpe.
