Today was another Kombi crazy day at the Old Bar beach festival. We arrived before 8am (lost an hour’s sleep thanks to the beginning of day light savings) and parked for the day. Unfortunately we didn’t win one of the lucky prize draws but we did talk to some nice van owners and enthusiasts. We also ate some yummy grub and enjoyed some of the live performances. I must remember to bring a good book next time as the time passed quite slowly.
Activity-wise, my step count just came from daily activity around the festival and the caravan park we’re staying at (a trip to the toilet yields several hundred steps here!).
In all there were 307 Kombis parked on the field (a new record). There were some real beauties! I will upload more photos of my favourite vans after we get home on Tuesday but here a few pictures I took from inside our van ...
