I have come to love and cherish a meal I have always taken for granted.
Masa/Waina it is by name, a local cake made out from Fermented Rice or Maize, it is usually taken with a soup popularly known as Miyan Taushe or normal stew.
The taste of Masa/Waina always stands Unique, it brings out the full pleasure and appetite some modern food can’t stand. Taking it always gives the eater to crave for more, less your satisfaction cannot withstand.
Basically rich in different nutrients you can find in a food, carbohydrate from its raw material, Protein and Vitamins from the accompanied stew which can contain any type of meat and assorted vegetable, there is fun and pleasure in taking Masa/Waina.

Why my colleagues who grew up here in the northern part of Nigeria, never stop emphasizing and boosting of this food.
After many rejections from my friend to visit a nearby Masa/Waina joint, little did I know I had missed this great food till on the 9th of December 2017, I decided to give it a try, behold I discovered a meal and I have never stopped daring it.
