I went to a local restaurant in Dar es Salaam with my business partners including Japanese, Tanzanian and Kenyan.
This restaurant is called Badminton Institute which is sports bar and provides wide range of Indian foods.
Indian Curry with Rice and Chapati
It costs around 8000Tsh, nearly 4USD. It's not so cheap for local employees. But last night's dinner was a weekend get-together for three companies. So it was on the companies^^
After I ate curry, I thought I would eat some fruits or ice cream or something like that.
But local employees started to order additional dishes one after another.
Chicken and Chips
One rafiki, which means friend in Kiswahili, strongly recommended that I should eat more.
I chose chicken and chips, which is popular fast-food here. Also around 4USD.
That green sauce behind the chicken is spicy sauce. Only a slight dip is enough to change the taste.
Btw, food in Dar es Salaam is quite familiar with Asian. Good rice and fish are easily available. I haven't had any complaints about food here!
