The hardest part about this piece was drawing without allowing myself tools for measuring a "perfect" circle. Honestly it looked pretty bad until I started shading. Then it came alive!
This piece was originally an M. C. Escher work. Then, I did a freehand remake with pencil, scanned that, and then put it through 15 minutes of photoshop lol. Tell me what you think :D. I personally am very happy with the results. It reminds me of a Christmas ornament lol.
I'm hoping to start on another drawing today, though it probably won't be this intricate since it's been awhile since I've drew such detail and I need to build up to that again.
