Hi Steemians!
I would like you to introduce you my sketch of one of the The Four members, Zhavia Vercetti. Do you know her? She's an R&B singer who made it to the Final Four and is still a 16 years old. Amazing right?
How do I know Zhavia Vercetti?
Actually, at first, I do not know her yet but her pictures and videos on Facebook were flooding in my feeds. Until such then in our class, my classmate opened up about her and there my curiosity questioned with "Who is she?" "Is she really like that?" and a lot more. Then, I searched her on YouTube, watching her performances and I was like... WOAH! SHE'S PRETTY! And then, I began sharing her performances and pictures on Facebook. And I was literally shocked when I knew that she is still 16. Bro! We're on the same age! Amazing! Then there, I began to support her and watched her performances on YouTube. And there was one time that the whole class watched on live to support her. I literally love her voice as a R&B singer. She's totally cool! Then yesterday came into my mind to draw her as a support.
The Drawing Process:
I actually drew her from around 4 hours.
First, I drew her face starting of from the eye to do the shading of the eye makeup. Then followed by the nose, lips and lastly, the shape of her face. Then shaded to get the tone.
(I'm actually not good in shading. I'm still developing that skill. My apologies.)
Second, I drew her neckline, her clothing, the accessory and the hair outline and shaded to emphasize the tone and the collarbone. To be honest, I actually have the difficulty in drawing her hair because I'm more used to draw shiny hairs compared to rasta-styled hairs. (I don't know what is that called actually. Sorry) But I tried my best to do it so to get the outline so I can shade it to make it a bit of reality to it.
Lastly, do the finishing touches and you're all set! Zhavia's rockin' on your sketch pad!
The final output!
I even put my work on my "My Day" on Facebook.
*Materials used:
- Canson sketch pad
- Faber Castell mechanical pencil
- Graphite pencil (for the shading)
- Cotton buds (for the shading. And I don't have a shading tool actually so I used alternatives.)
P.S. I'm actually listening to Zhavia's song performances right now. I totally love her voice and her as well. _
Thank you for stopping by on my blog. I'm open up for your comments.
