金字塔位于开罗附近，13公里外的吉萨。金字塔被列为古代世界的七大奇迹之一，也是最古老的。可能建成早过公元前2560年。
是的，金字塔被建造成埃及古代国王法老王的坟墓。在这里，我们看到复杂的群体包含3个巨大的金字塔，胡夫，卡夫拉，及孟卡拉金字塔，并且有3个皇后小金字塔。还有其他有趣的纪念碑，如狮身人面像和太阳船（是一首殡仪船），以及寺庙。

My sketch: the Great Pyramids

The pyramids are in Giza, the neighborhood of Cairo, 13 km away. The Pyramids are listed as the oldest remaining SEVEN WONDERS of the Ancient World. Probably built more than 2560 BC.
Yes, the pyramids are built as tombs for the pharaohs, the ancient kings of Egypt. Here we see the complex group contains 3 huge pyramids, Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, and 3 smaller pyramids for the queens. There are other interesting monuments such as the Sphinx and the Funerary Boat, and temples.
