'Tree's Dream Of Having Branches, Again'
In this one I continue with my minimalistic approach to ordinary things. However, I added another, dreamy dimension to it. Is it still minimalist or not, to be completely honest, I cannot tell anymore. There is definitely a story of a tree cut short and its dream of having all the branches again. If we go deeper into that thought, it is about wanting to revive some old times when things appeared to be better. Appeared, mind you, because life is always as good as we allow ourselves to feel it.
The only coloured space is in the bottom quarter of the frame. But, only if you, by any chance, missed noticing the red of the tree. The red colour is quite dark but still brings enough life to the tree. It is opposed to a quite hazy, misty part representing the past. The balance between the coloured areas and the ones with almost invisible colour works really well. Areas neatly complement each other. This is a composited image, not a double exposure or single take. Sometimes one needs to use post in order to better express the ideas. No shame in that.
Hope you don't live in the past. None of us ever should. All we have in "now" and maybe a little hope in the good things to come. Good outcomes are what I wish for all of you!
