'Simphony In White'
I can almost hear the little yellow shapes. They are playing a song of joy. Visual space has its rules, just like music. It is a challenge and a thrill to find the proper balance, matching tonalities, rhythms and all other elements that visual arts consist of. It does take a wee bit of talent, too. However, with constant interest and correct regular practice, a human being can achieve anything under heavens.
Notice the tonalities spread throughout the white background. It appears soft and dreamy, serving as much wanted background for the yellow shapes, which are able to stand out. Thier colour is what draws attention. A very specific balance is achieved between both the foreground and the background, a new space is created from simple elements. This is how minimalistic approach works, in most cases. One must learn to appreciate visual space in order to understand it.
It makes me want to touch the little yellow shapes and feel them with my fingers but, somehow, they are too gentle. That tenderness stops me from actually touching them, and by doing so, destroying all the beauty.
Enjoy! :)
