'Raindrops'
It was one of those days when I like being inside and observing the rain through the window. Well, sometimes I open the window and smell the rainy weather. At one point the rain stopped and I noticed the tiny drops, so I took my camera and rushed outside to take a photo. As you noticed, I used a macro lens and got a few perfect drops in focus while I've left the rest out of it. We can see through and notice the tiny white lines of the leaf beneath the drop.
The colour scheme is simple. A grey rainy day atmosphere captured in a macro setting. Thick saturated green dominates the composition and is accompanied by appropriate contrast in tonalities. The white areas accentuate the water, while the background remains dark.
As they say, always stop to smell the roses. Or, photograph the raindrops on their leaves.. :)
