I really, really hate it when people lie.
Presenting BakUSA's amazing mastercraft in dishonesty, the seal 8.
More like "fresh outta Guangdong with the latest case designs open-sourced by the Chinese government"

Maybe because I'll be going there soon, I've been thinking a lot about my hometown, Buffalo, NY. As many of you know, I live in Siem Reap, Cambodia and I do a lot of blockchain technology consulting. I have steem to thank for that, in fact. But I want to talk to you today about a threat greater even than mexicans climbing Donald's wall:
The threat to our legitimacy posed by total bullshit companies being funded by the state.
See, in Haiti, the BAK family worked out a great scam. They bought tablet computers from China, and then sold them as made in Haiti.

They're all common Chinese models. -- look familiar to you? How about you,
? Hell, anyone else on here hang out at #huaqiangbei for a while? I miss that place.
Anyway, we can now see that pattern repeated in Buffalo, NY.
I do want manufacturing to come to my hometown, but I want it to be legitimate. I want the employees to learn actual skills, instead of simply imprinting their initials on the device to show that it is American made. I want the work to be genuine, an the skills transferred effective. But that is NOT happening here.

Credit- The people who actually make the tablet
BAK likes to talk about how it is helping communities with their "factories." But they're not. They are just remarking low-quality computers that no self-respecting Chinese person would be caught dead using. Fact is China makes some very good electronics-- just-- surprise, surprise, you won't find any of them sold by the company that has Americans stamp their initals on their product as a sign of craftsmanship yet do not actually make any tablets. Please, reach out to someone and ask them to share this article. I can no longer tolerate the depths of intellectual fraud I'm seeing out of my hometown.
